Newcastle court house consists of the Local & District Court in the area. The court house has multiple court rooms inside, with a Presiding Judge or Magistrate who hears the day’s cases in each court room.

The Newcastle court building opens doors at 9am, but the court rooms inside begins hearing cases at 9:30am weekdays.

The Newcastle court building also provides a JP service on selected days.

Newcastle court is about 1.5km from the Newcastle train station. There is also shopping centre a short walk from the court house. Parking is usually available nearby, with plenty of parking spots in-front of the court.
