Going to Blacktown Court?

The Blacktown court house has four court rooms inside the building complex. Out of the four court rooms, one is a Registrar’s court where the shorter matters called ‘mentions’ are heard.

Each of the other three court rooms usually have a presiding Magistrate who deals with the day’s court matters.

The Blacktown court house building opens its doors at 9am, but the actual court rooms inside the building where the Magistrates sits and hears cases doesn’t open until 9:30am.

The Blacktown court house is situated only a couple or so minutes-walk away from the Blacktown railway station. Another way to find the Blacktown court house is to find the Blacktown Westfields shopping centre which is located directly across the road from the court on Kildare road.

The Blacktown local court parking is limited, but the Westfields shopping centre does have public parking located across the road from the court house.

You can get to the Blacktown court by a number of methods, namely:

  • By car. Blacktown court is about 30km away from CBD Sydney city.
  • By bus. There’s a bus interchange right next to the train station, which services across many Sydney suburbs.
  • By train. The Blacktown train station is situated in-front of the Westfields shopping centre in Blacktown.
