Having completed a Bachelor of Laws, and Bachelor of Business at the University of Technology Sydney, followed by the completion of a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law, Amin brings a strong academic foundation and practical insight to every case he handles. Amin is a persuasive advocate in court and an intelligent negotiator outside it.

He focuses on achieving outstanding results by negotiating with police and prosecutors early in proceedings to have charges withdrawn or reduced—saving his clients unnecessary legal costs and stress.

Passionate about defending the rights of his clients, Amin ensures that no stone is left unturned in preparing each case. He takes pride in giving his clients a strong and respected voice in court, fighting tirelessly to secure the best possible outcome.

Amin exclusively practices in criminal and traffic law. He can represent clients across a wide range of matters including appeals, sexual assault and child sexual assault charges, bail applications (including Supreme Court bail), domestic violence and AVO matters, assault offences (common assault, actual bodily harm, grievous bodily harm), mental health defences and diversionary applications, drug offences (possession, supply, importation), money laundering and financial crime, Crime Commission proceedings and investigations, District Court jury trials, all traffic offences including drink driving, dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified, and Children’s Court proceedings.

Amin’s dedication to excellence has been recognised through numerous academic and community awards, including the Certificate of Excellence from Human Appeal Australia for his outstanding ATAR of 94.30, an Achievement Award from the Iraqi Australia University Graduate Forum for his exceptional HSC results, the Bayt Al-Zakat Australia Medal, and a 3rd place medal at the Place of Pain In-House Taekwondo Tournament.

Outside the courtroom, Amin has a strong sporting background, having played junior rugby league for six years and captained his under-13 rugby league club.

He was crowned Year 12 Athletics Champion and was a Canterbury-Bankstown District Juniors Rugby League runner-up. A passionate St George Illawarra Dragons supporter, Amin also enjoys following the UFC and soccer, where he proudly supports Chelsea FC.

Amin has a deep curiosity for diverse cultures, religions, and languages, and enjoys meeting people from diverse backgrounds and upbringings. His empathy and understanding of others’ experiences enhance his ability to represent his clients with compassion and conviction.
