Our 22-year-old client who is a sole bread winner in his family worked as an air conditioner technician from St. Clair. Penrith police charged our client with stalk/intimidate, affray and threaten to injury person with intent to commit indictable offence.

Our client called our office arranging a consultation the same day. Our specialist criminal defence lawyer Ahmad Faraj provided thorough advice and guidance. Mr. Faraj worked around the clock to negotiate with police who eventually agreed to withdraw two of the three charges our client was facing.

The Incident

On the date of the offence, he was driving home when his mother called him advising that his ex-girlfriend was assaulting her at the property, he sped to the home. Upon arrival, he got out of the car with a metal pole in his hand and charged towards the victim, police intervened and stopped him as they were already there.

On behalf of our client, Mr. Faraj attended the Penrith Local Court when he tendered a number of compelling good character letters with lengthy submissions to the Magistrate. Thanks to the way Mr. Faraj prepared this case, and his tactful approach to the case, the Magistrate agreed with Mr. Faraj and sentenced our client with no criminal record under a conditional release order non-conviction.

Our client was very happy to maintain a conviction free record.
