My matter was an application to have my driving licence disqualification lifted early with regards to the new NSW driving disqualification reforms.

My matter was not as simple as others who seeked to have there disqualifications lifted early, as the RMS had put a spanner in the works for my driving disqualification to be lifted early, as they thought I did not meet the 2 year category that the new laws required, though even with the spanner in the works, I made the executive decision to risk it for the biscuit to say on the trust and expertise in law from Jimmy that we had a chance and applied to have my disqualification lifted at the local court in front of the magistrate.

Jimmy had meticulously done his work with my case and gee wiz, I tell you what, he fair dinkum knows the law, by cross examining the spanner in the works put by the RMS and the new laws, and that made the difference, as he countered every doubt the magistrate was putting up to debate and put in the spirit and heart to go the extra mile during the 12 rounds to say with the magistrate and come out on top with the outcome we were looking for, which was to get me a fair dinkum fair go.

No joke, Jimmy was like something out of “A Few Good Men” and “Jerry McGuire”, Tom Cruise playing the role, but in fact, it was just Jimmy doing what he does best, and that is to represent his client in the best possible way, with the best possible outcome.

I sincerely thank Jimmy and the whole CDLA team as it was a collective team effort, what a lawyer, off the planet/charts, never seen anyone do what they do like him and I am forever grateful for getting me a fair go. Cheers.
